She was the Season Two contestant of the reality cooking show MasterChef Junior who finished as a top 6 finalist. She competed against eventual MasterChef Junior champion Logan Guleff. She began cooking around the age of six, and decided she wanted to be a chef when she was seven. She joined the cast of the Fox drama series Sleepy Hollow for the show's fourth season. She is named after the wife of Charlie Chaplin, Oona O'Neill. Her parents would pay her $5 for every dinner she cooked and cleaned up after.
Her cooking skills really showed in Sleepy Hollow as well. She was actually a better chef than her TV mom, Diana Thomas played by Janina Gavankar. She joined the cast when she was 11; ironically, it was the same age when a Witness was chosen. And so she was in Episode 7 of Season 3. She's also seen as a talented artist as she made various sketches highlighting the show's events. And her stardom just took off from here.
- Oona plays the present version of Molly Thomas, not to be confused with Lara, her future version.
- Her real age is similar to her character, Molly. She first started when she was 10, then by Locos Parentis, she turned 11.
